Productive Foam at $1.00per bug! Who doesn't love a splashy Hopper or Stone Eat? My go to foam patterns in one package. 8 Moorish Hoppers, 8 Yeti Hoppers and 8 Chubby Chernobyl's will keep you splatting for days. Click the "Full Details" arrow for sizes.
Tungsten Beaded Jig Heads at less than $1.00 per fly? Simple is good. Always in the box and most likely on your rig if you're on the water with me. I love tungsten jig head ties because they get down and dirty in our bigger water. Of course, you can use them anywhere. With all nymph patterns, depth matters. Consider your flow rate, water depth and how much weight you need to get your bug in front of the fish. I will always play with the depth before I change bugs or the size. This package works out to 52 cents per fly! I once heard evolving as a fly fisher means you become more "Hunter" and less "Hoper" These are some of my favourite weapons when stalking big sippers. Happy Hunting! Click the " Full Details" arrow to see the package specifics.
Worms and Tungsten Bead Buggers. Package works out to 96 cents per fly! No Purists Please. A deadly Day Saver combination so I put them together in a package. Works great in a drop shot rig, or using a swivel above the worm with double non slip loop knots tied eye to eye on the worm, using your leech as the point fly. See our rigging diagrams on our Resources Page. Click the "Full Details" arrow to see the package specifics.
Streamers at $1.52 per fly! Just some basic patterns that produce for me every season. I'm typically on a Sink Tip with a short heavy flouorocarbon strand to the bug. Tight to the bank in the pockets typically produces some epic smacks! Click the "Full Details" arrow to see the package specifics.
We'll make it easy and package up our assortments into a slim line box. You'll have plenty of bugs to cover any fishing situation you encounter with confidence and enough to lose one or two. Check around and you'll quickly realize this is exceptional value on some damn fine patterns.
12 Tungsten Bead Heads. $1.25 per fly is a fantastic price for Tungsten! You get a dozen proven nymph patterns that will get down into the zone. Pheasant Tail, Prince, Lightning Bug, Perdigons Hares Ears and Frenchies are all staples in my box! 2 of each pattern sizes 14 and 16.
12 Tungsten Coffee Beads. Various size combinations available. I always have plenty of these in the box. This simple pattern can imitate just about anything so I carry them in several sizes. In my experience, sizes 14 and 16 get my guests into fish most often.
12 Tungsten Coffee Beads. Various size combinations available. The good ol' Prince is another one of those everything and anything patterns. Size is the key for me. I've used it with good success both as a stone and a backswimmer. Often, when the trout aren't eating what I've got on the menu, I'll throw one of these below a hopper, drift it through the head of a riffle and BOOM!
12 Tungsten Coffee Beads. The Brown Hares Ear takes on a darker colour when it's wet....check out the pic on the listing. I love this pattern as a caddis pupa and it's typically on your rig if I'm guiding you. Trout just eat this for me once I get the depth and size dialed in.
12 Tungsten Coffee Beads. This is kind of a mish mash of colour and material. It's just really buggy and tends to work well in off coloured water. Sometimes I cut back the hackle to slim down the profile. A few of these are in all our variety packs.
18 Tungsten Coffee Beads. The Hares Ear is just one of those really good producing bugs anytime of year. I love the brown variation, but you can't go wrong with Olive or a Tan with a hot spot. These 3 variations in sizes 14, 16 and 18 are always in the box.
I just couldn't offer caddis patterns in a smaller package. I'm most confident when I have a variety of sizes, colours and a choice between a regular elk hair pattern and the x caddis. Sizes 16, 18 and 20 give choice out there when the trout refuses your first try. Sometimes I'll cut the elk hair way down and turn these into emergers.
Another staple on the Bow. I always have plenty of these in the box. This is one of those patterns that will produce for you when nothing else does. Tuck it away and use it wisely.
